Inner body / outer space
with UlrikeWe gonna activate our senses and get into motion through different somatic influenced exercises. Focussing on a joyful and playful way to move we take a look on our inner body space within it’s individual dynamics and needs. But how are we actually influenced by the outer space we live in? In which environment do we live? Which architectural space do we live and move in day by day? Taking these questions as a starting point we are going to research different movement qualities and create own movement material out of daily life actions and gestures. In the workshop there’s space to discover and explore your own way of moving, share and exchange with others, finding new ways to express yourself, self care and well being through moving and being moved by others!
No movement experience required.

The archaeology of images.
with OscarYou have hours of video footage in your attic? From you? From your family? From Bijlmermeer, from abroad? What is hidden in this footage? What has been forgotten? You want to share it? You are interested in others videofootage? This video workshop brings people together that are curious about their traces, their history and stories buried in hours of video imagery. What can we read from the images? What is the relationship between memory and material? How does the image relate to the here and now? What traces do the images reveal? To you and the others?
An archaeology of the image - excavations that wash away the sediments and make visible what everyday life has covered. Together we dive into the snippets of the past. Bring your MiniDv, HI8, VHS, SVHS, DVD, BluRay, SD card or other formats and we will try to make the video work.
